Valentines for my kids

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!  You can make such cute little gifts for this special occasion.  Check out these quick & easy matchboxesfull of treats that I made for my kiddies....all I used was Stampin' Up!'s Bigz XL Matchbox die....even for the tag.  I did both of these matchboxes in a matter of minutes.  I didn't have a lot of time and went quickly to work once my youngest was having a nap.  I haven't used my Bigz XL die in a long time, I must remember to use it more often.  I sure do love my Big Shot and the different accessories that come with it.  It makes creating that much more simple.

Quick & Easy Christmas Gift.........

Here is a quick and easy Christmas gift that I made for my sister-in-law.....a glass jar sporting Stampin' Up!'s Candy Cane Decor Elements filled with handmade Nuts & Bolts.  A Christmas gift can not be quicker or easier than that.  Here is how I made it......I purchased the glass jar from one of the Dollar Stores in the city that I live in.  I then applied the 3 red candy canes on 3 of the jar's sides, I then adhered some Candy Cane Designer Series paper with sticky strip to the top of the jar lid and then filled the jar with my homemade recipe for nuts & bolts.

Stampin' Up! Designer Fabric is......AWESOME

Hello Stamping Friends,
I bring you this post with great excitement.......I had to try out Stampin' Up!'s Designer Fabric and well........I LOVE IT.  I was getting some inspiration from a upline DVD the other day and a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator showed a Designer Fabric creation she had made....a designer fabric scallop square coaster.  Thanks for the inspiration Winona!  OMG!  I loved it so of course I had to get the products to re-create this too cute project.  Below are a couple of pictures that I took while making these cute Christmas gifts.

Here is an opended package of the Candy Cane Designer Fabric.  I love the color and fabric combo you receive.  Wow!  Look at all that fabric.  Isn't it great.

The Scallop Square Bigz Die is a perfect die to make these cute Scallop Squares.  If you have the Big Shot die-cut machine this die is a must.  Even if you don't own the Big Shot die-cut machine I would suggest getting one.  You can do so much with it.

Here are the Candy Cane Designer Fabric trio I made.  Too cute!  These are so easy to make. 

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:

Accessories: Candy Cane Designer Fabric, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Scallop Square Bigz Die, SNAIL adhesive, Linen Thread, Button from Candy Cane Designer Bigs Buttons

Here are the step by step instructions

Step 1 - Cut a piece of 5" x 5" Candy Cane Designer Fabric or fabric of your choice and place over top of the Scallop Square Bigz Die.  Remember when using a Stampin' Up! Bigz Die if there are no scoring lines which the Scallop Square Bigz Die does not have, you can cut more than at a time.  I think I was able to cut 4 squares at a time.  Yahoo!

Step 2 - Run Scallop Square Bigz Die and Candy Cane Designer Fabric through Big Shot Die-Cut Machine

Step 3 - Flip Candy Cane Designer Fabric Scallop Squares over so that they are facing down on your stamping surface.  Then place adhesive either on each scallop around the edges of just inside of them.  I used Stampin' Up! SNAIL adhesive.  You want to do this on bot insides of each Candy Cane Designer Fabric Scallop Square.

Step 4 - Take a little bit of batting or poly-fiber fill and place on the inside of one Candy Cane Designer Fabric Scallop Square just inside the adhesive line.  You do not need to use a lot of batting or poly-fiber fill as we don't want these coasters to be too thick.

Step 5 - Take the Candy Cane Designer Fabric Scallop Square that doesn't have the battie or poly-fiber fill and place on top of the other one.  It is easy as all you have to do is match up the scallop edges of each square and it should be adhered together straight.

Step 6 - Take a needle and Linen Thread and sew an 'x' in each corner.  A Linen Thread tip - you can separate the linen thread so that is it not so thick.

Step 7 - Take a button from the Candy Cane Big Designer Button collection and sew it in the bottom right corner using a needle and linen thread.

Peace Love Joy Stenciled Canvas

Oh it has been a week since I posted some creativity.  Sorry about that - life is a bit busy at the moment.  I hope all of you are doing well.  This project was a lot of fun to make.  It had to be as I made 8 of them.  This is what I gave my Stampin' Technique & Scrapbook Club members as a thank you for joining my club this year.  I hope they all enjoyed them.  A painted and stamped canvas is a great gift idea for a hard to buy for person.  I used Stampin' Up!'s Vintage Ornament Stencils, acrylic paint and the All Holidays stamp set to create this holiday canvas.

Step by Step Instructions
1.  Lay down some scrap paper (such as newspaper or the paper that comes in your Stampin' Up! shipments is a great thing to use) on a flat surface.
2.  Pour some tan acrylic paint on top of canvas and spread across canvas with a paint brush and let dry.  You may want to apply 2 coats.  I usually let it dry over night but being it isn't a big surface it will probably be dry in a couple of hours.
3.  Before we paint our first ornament (the white one in the middle) we will need to make a mask of it out of scrap paper.  Place the long narrow pointed end ornament from the Vintage Ornament II Stencil Assortment on a piece of scrap paper, trace just the ornament body (not the top) with a pencil, cut out and set aside.  We will set a piece of scrap paper over the top of the ornament when we need to mask that area.
4.  Next line up the same stencil (long narrow pointed end ornament) in the center of your canvas.  You may want to position a piece of scrap paper where the ornament top is as we don't want to paint this white.  We are going to leave it tan for now.  Then pour a small pool of white acrylic paint on a plastic surface (I used a left over lid from a margarine or yogurt container).  Take a sponge, dab it in the white acrylic paint and then holding down the side of the stencil with your fingers gently dab the sponge into the middle of the stencil on the canvas.  Make sure you apply the paint evenly and have paint everywhere inside the stencil.  Lift gently.  This will need to dry so you can go and wash your stencil off as well as the sponge and the plastic surface.  If you need to do any touch ups we will do that later.
5.  Once the white ornament is dry place the scrap paper mask over top of it again, then grab the big ornament stencil from the Vintage Ornament II Stencil Assortment and position it to the left side of the white ornament. You can use the same piece of scrap paper for the top of this ornament as we will paint it later on.
6.  Pour some burgandy acrylic paint on a plastic surface (I used a left over lid from a margarine or yogurt container). Take a sponge, dab it in the burgandy acrylic paint and then holding down the side of the stencil with your fingers gently dab the sponge into the middle of the stencil on the canvas. Make sure you apply the paint evenly and have paint everywhere inside the stencil. Lift gently. Because of the size of the stencil (blue part) we will need to let this dry before doing the navy ornament. 
7.  Once the burgandy ornament is dry we are going to repeat the painting steps for the navy ornament.  Position the mask over top of the white ornament.  Line up the small round stencil from the Vintage Ornament I stencil assortment on the right side of the white ornament.  Place a piece of scrap paper on the top part of the ornament as we are going to paint that later.  Next pour some navy acrylic paint onto a plastic surface, dab a sponge into the navy acrylic paint and then holding down the sides of the stencil with your fingers gently dab the sponge into the middle of the stencil on the canvas.  Make sure the paint is applied evenly and every suface is covered with paint in the stencil area.  Lift gently and let dry.
8. Once the navy ornament is dry let's paint the top of each ornament.  Place all 3 ornament stencils in front of you.  These steps will be repeated for each ornament.  Let's start with the burgandy ornament by pouring some gold acrylic paint on a plastic surface.  Position the stencil over top of the burgandy ornament previously painted.  If you want you can use a piece of scrap paper as a mask so that you don't get any gold paint onto the burgandy ornament you just painted.  If you don't want to that is fine too as the burgandy paint is darker than the gold paint so we can fix it later. Take a sponge, dab it in the gold acrylic paint and very gently dab it onto the top part of the ornament stencil.  The gold paint will be a bit hard to see as it very close to the tan color but once dried it will look great.  Repeat this process for the other 2 ornament tops. You will want to wait until each one is dry before doing the next one as the stencil area is big and will smear the one you just painted when you position it.  Don't wash the gold acrylic paint off of your plastic surface yet as we are going to do the decoration part next.
9. Find the design that has the 4 petals (they look like petals to me) spots and curly tail, position it over in the center over top of the burgandy ornament.  You may need the white ornament mask for this step.  Using the sponge, dab it into the gold paint on the plastic surface and dab it ever so gently onto the decoration stencil.  Once you are happy with how it looks you can wash the stencils, sponge & plastic surface.
10.  Next take a Christmas sentiment stamp, I used the Peace Love Joy stamp from the All Holidays stamp set, ink it with Always Artichoke Classic Ink and stamp it in the middle of the white ornament.  Clean stamp.
11. Punch out a small star using the star punch from Brushed Silver card stock.  Apply some sticky strip to the back and adhere to the middle of the navy ornament.  Next place a Basic Rhinestone Jewel in the middle of the star.
12. We are almost done.  All that is left to do is to draw a line from the top of the canvas to the top of each ornament. I used my Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker and a ruler to make my lines somewhat straight. 
13. If any touch ups need to be done, all I did was pour which ever color of acrylic paint I needed to touch up on a plastic lid and with a small angled paint brush applied paint to whichever area free hand.  You may need to add a couple of coats of paint depending on which color you are touching up.

We are finished!  An easy Christmas stamped canvas.

more pink Lumineres

I looked at the previous Luminere that I made with the Bats and thought it was a little plain so here are some more that I made that are a bit more decorated.  I went a little crazy the other night and made 7 of these.  I gave one to my daughter because she loves my creations and always get so excited when I make them.  The others I am going to give as Halloween gifts to some of my co-wokers.   I hope they like their pink lumineres.  I used the Spider Web Textured Impressions Folder on the Spider Luminere.  It was a little difficult to fold at the scoring line.  With some gently fingers I did get the score lines to bend.  I have an idea to make some Christmas ones using the Candy Cane Designer Series Paper.  I think these are a neat 3-D project.  I can't wait to demonstrate them for my new 2011 Stamping Technique & 3-D Project club starting January.  If you are interested in learning new stamping techniques & 3-D projects, then this club is for you.  Registeration is open.

Sparkly Bat Pink Luminere

You may be asking yourself why would I make a Halloween project with pink.......well I was on Mary Fish's website the other day and she had a beautiful pink Halloween card uploaded.  I read Mary's post and she said she had made a pink Halloween card because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  I thought what a cool idea.  That idea got my "pink" creative juices flowing.  Here is my pink Halloween project.  Thanks Mary for the inspiration.  If you frequent SCS often you will have noticed that they had a luminere tutorial on their home page this week.  I clicked on the link to see how to make them and I loved that project.  Once you get one done and the flow of how they are put together they are very easy to make.  I think I am going to make a bunch of these for the office support ladies that I work with.  Should I keep the pink theme going?  What do you think?  I am definetly going to show the members of my 2011 Stampin' Technique & 3-D Project Club how to make these.

Step by Step instructions on making a pink luminere
1. cut 4 Pretty in Pink card stock squares measuring 4-1/4" x 4-1/4"
2. score all 4 Pretty in Pink squares at the 1/4" mark on all 4 sides of each square
3. cut off one of the 1/4" score lines on each of the 4 Pretty in Pink squares
4. grab your circle scissors plus, glass mat and some masking tape.  Before making the circle I always do a trial run of where I want the circle without the cutting blade in.  Position one of your Pretty in Pink card stock squares in the middle of your glass mat.  Tape all 4 sides down with masking tape of Dotto (Removable Adhesive).
5. Turn the knob on the Circle Scissors Plus so that you have a 2-1/2" circle.  Before adding the cutting blade in position it in the middle over to of your taped down Pretty in Pink card stock square.  Turn the wheel around to make sure that your circle will be somewhat centered in the Pretty in Pink card stock square.  Once you feel your circle is centered, place the cutting blade in place and turn to cut your circle.  Keep your Pretty in Pink card stock cut-out circle to use later on another project.  Repeat the above step on all 4 Pretty in Pink card stock squares.
6. Next you are going to need some 3" x 3" White Vellum Paper squares.  You will need 4 of them.
7. Take a Halloween stamp set and ink up whichever images you want with Basic Black Classic Ink and stamp the image where ever you want on the 3" x 3" White Vellum Paper.  I used the Bat image from the From the Crypt stamp set along with the bunch of bats image from the Wicked Cool stamp set.
8. Set aside to dry.  I find Classic Ink when stamped on White Vellum Paper takes a little longer to dry than card stock.
9. You can now fold down all of the 1/4" score lines on the all of the Pretty in Pink card stock squares.
10. The Basic Black Classic Ink that was stamped on the White Vellum Paper should be dry now.  Adhere each White Vellum Paper square to the inside of your Pretty in Pink squares making sure the cut off score line is at the top.
11. Once you have finished adhering the White Vellum Paper to your Pretty in Pink square we are going to adhere each Pretty in Pink square together.  With the fronts facing down fold down one of the side 1/4" score lines on the Pretty in Pink squares (you want it to fold toward the center of the square) and apply adhesive to it.  Take another Pretty in Pink square with the 1/4" score line folded towards the centre of the square and place it over top of the score line with adhesive on it.  You are going to repeat this step until you have all of the sides joined.  Once all of the side are joined apply adhesive on the outter 1/4" score line and line it up with the other outter side 1/4" line.  You should now have a box.
12. Cut a piece of Pretty in Pink card stock measuring 3-1/4" x 3-1/4".  This is your bottom piece.  Adhere to the bottom of your box.
13. Punch out 2 pieces of Basic Black card stock using the Bitty Bat Punch.  Apply VersaMark to each one then Heat & Stick Powder and heat.  Once the Heat & Stick Powder is gooey and clear apply some Black Fine Galaxy Glitter on top.  Heat again.  Place a Stampin' Dimensional on the back of each bat and position it at the top of one of the circles.  I did this on 2 sides only.
14. Place a battery-operated tea light inside and VOILA you have your very own pink Halloween Luminere.

Spooky Spider Halloween Treat Holder

I tried to make these spiders sparkle using the Heat & Stick Powder and Black Fine Galaxy Glitter but it didn't work so well.  The top spider has a bit of sparkle to it but not like the sparkly bat.  When I was making these it was getting late so I didn't add sparkles to the Scallop Oval punch.  If you want to do that please refer back to the "Bat Treat Holder" post as it has the step by step instructions on how to do that. 

Step by Step Instuctions on how to make Spider Halloween Treat Holder:

1. Grab your Big Shot & Two Tags Bigz Die.
2. Take a piece of Whisper White card stock (size 3" x 4-1/2") and position it over top of the bigger tag that is positioned towards the bottom of the die (the tag that has the score line in the middle of it).
3. Next sandwich the die and whisper white card stock between the two standard cutting pads (plexi-glass pads) and run it through your Big Shot. You will need to do this 2 times as we need two of these tags to make one Treat Holder.
**If you need to make more than one treat holder, you will need to do steps 2 & 3 over again. Because the tag that we are using has a score line in it we can only do one piece of card stock at a time. If we do more than one the score line will end up cutting that line instead of scoring it.
4. Next take the Spider Web image from the Wicked Cool Stamp Set, ink with Basic Black Classic Ink and stamp two spider webs on each tag...one in the top left corner and one in the bottom right corner of each tag.  You will need to apply ink to the stamp each time.
5. Next take the Spider image from the From the Crypt Stamp Set, ink with Basic Black Classic Ink and stamp the spider image just off of each spider web.
6. Next take the Spooky words stamp from the Wicked Cool Stamp Set, ink with Basic Black Classic Ink and stamp the words on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  Punch out using 1-3/4" x 7/8" Oval Punch.
7. Next punch a Scallop Oval out using Scallop Oval Punch.  If you want to make the Scallop Oval sparkle like the one on the "Bat Halloween Treat Holder" I made please refer to that post.
8. Adhere Whisper White Oval Spooky words in the middle of Basic Black Scallop Oval.
9. Flip Basic Black Scallop Oval over and place 2 Stampin' Dimensionals on the back.  Peel backs off and position in the middle of the tag front.
10. Next fold both tags at score line. Apply some adhesive to the bottom of one of the tags and position it over top of the other bottom of the other tag. Apply some pressure so that the two tag bottoms are secure. We are almost finished.
11. Next put a Halloween treat inside and secure the 2 holes at the top with something. I used an orange circle rhinestone brad from Stampin' Up!'s Circle Fire Rhinestone assortment. You can use ribbon or linen thread, a button...whatever you want.

Spooky Halloween Treat Holders

Here are the treat holders I came up with using the Two Tag Bigz Die.  I am happy with the way they turned out and they didn't take me all that long to do - YEAH!.  I will give you step by step instructions on how to create these cute little treat holders.  I may just have to make 18 more for my daughter's kindergarten class.

Step by Step Instuctions:

1. Grab your Big Shot & Two Tags Bigz Die.  

2. Take a piece of Whisper White card stock (size 3" x 4-1/2") and position it over top of the bigger tag that is positioned towards the bottom of the die (the tag that has the score line in the middle of it).

3. Next sandwich the die and whisper white card stock between the two standard cutting pads (plexi-glass pads) and run it through your Big Shot.  You will need to do this 2 times as we need two of these tags to make one Treat Holder.

4. Next take the stamp sets you want to decorate the front of your "tag treat holder".  Below are the instructions and supplies on how to make the Bat Treat Holder....

To make the Bat Treat Holder I used some stamps from the Wicked Cool stamp set.  This is a great Halloween stamp set.

5. Lay your Whisper White Tags down on your table.  Take the bat stamp, ink with Basic Black ink and stamp on the upper left side as well as on the bottom right side of both tags.  You will need to apply ink on the stamp each time.  Set aside

6. Next let's add some sparkles to the bat in the top right corner.  Take your Bitty Bat Punch and punch out a piece of Basic Black card stock.  Take your VersaMark Pad and cover the punched out Bat with it.  Make sure that it is all over the bat.  Next sprinkle Heat & Stick Powder on it.  (This is the very first time I have ever used Heat & Stick Powder!) Heat with a heat gun.  You will notice the heat & stick powder becomes gooey & clear.  Next sprinkle the punched out bat with Black Glitter.  I used the Black Glitter from the Fine Galaxy Glitter collection.  That stuff is amazing.  If you don't have any be sure to get some through me. :)  Next you are going to want to heat the bat again so that the Black Glitter stays in place.  Voila a sparkly bat.  Isn't it gorgeous!

7. You will see in the image the Scallop Oval I used is sparkly too.  I did the same process for the Scallop Oval as I did the Bat.  Once you have finished making your Scallop Oval sparkly set aside.

8.  Ink Spooky stamp with Basic Black ink and stamp on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  Punch out using 1-3/4" x 7/8" Oval Large Punch. (To me it looks like the medium oval punch if you look in Stampin' Up!'s Idea Book & Catalogue on pg 203.)

9. Adhere Spooky punched out words on top of the sparkly Scallop Oval punch out.  Flip over and apply 2 Stampin' Dimensionals, peel the backs off and position it in the middle of one of the Tags.

10. Flip the Sparkly Bat over, apply 2 Stampin' Dimensionals, peel the backs off and position it in the top right coner of the same tag.

11. Next fold both tags at score line.  Apply some adhesive to the bottom of one of the tags and position it over top of the other bottom of the other tag.  Apply some pressure so that the two tag bottoms are secure.  We are almost finished.  

12. Next put a Halloween treat inside and secure the 2 holes at the top with something.  I used an orange circle rhinestone brad from Stampin' Up!'s Circle Fire Rhinestone assortment.  You can use ribbon or linen thread, a button...whatever you want.

The Itsy Bitsy SPIDER....

This Itsy Bitsy Spider has a treat inside of it.  A bag of Halloween jelly beans.  To create this I found a couple of ideas on the Stampin' Connections (an exclusive website for SU demonstrators) and decided to combine the two.  I used the very talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Jackie Topa's Punch Art Spider idea found here and Michelle Pollard, another fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, had the cutest treat shaker bat project using two Tag Die glued together with a ribbon at the top.  I have emailed her to see if she has her shaker bat treat project on a blog.  If she does I will point you her way to see it.  It is so cute.  With these 2 ideas (punch art spider & shaker treat using 2 tag dies) I thought I would be so clever as to combine them and create my own shaker spider treat project using a Sweet Treat Cup with Fine Galaxy Black Glitter & Micro Beads inside it.  Here is what I came up with.  I was so excited while creating it and when I was finished realized that it took a lot more work then I thought.  hehehe I need a cute little stamping gift as a thank you to give my stamping friends that are coming this Sunday to make Christmas & Halloween cards and I thought a little treat shaker project would be such a good idea.  I may make some more just like this one or change it up a bit and instead of using a Sweet Treat Cup to put the Fine Galaxy black glitter & Micro beads inside I might use Michelle Pollard's idea and make a normal shaker card.  That way may be a bit easier and quicker to make a bunch.  Or I may spice it up totally and make a bunch of different Halloween themed ones like a Mummy, Frankenstien, a black kitty, etc.  Stay tuned to see what I come up with.

Our Family Scrapbook Canvas (Jan. 2011 Technique & 3-D Club project)

This is a project that I am thrilled to tell you about.  I came across an amazing stamped canvas by a very talented fellow Stampin' Up! Demontrator...Marika Lemay....here is the link to her beautiful canvas.  Wow!  This project was a bit challenging as I couldn't find the same products that Marika used but I was able to get by with what I did find.  I thought this would be a great tribute to my loving dogs being they are now our angels looking down on us.   
Stampin' Up! Supplies used:

Paper: Crumb Cake card stock, Early Espresso card stock, Very Vanilla card stock
Ink: Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad, Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad
Accessories: Kind Thoughts Brocade Small Decor Stencil, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Scallop Border Punch, Vanilla Half-Back Pearls from the Pretties Kit, Designer Label Punch, Silver Designer Label HodgePodge Hardware, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Naturally Serif Sizzlits Decorative Die, Stampin' Dimensionals, Log Cabin Smooch Spritz, Glue Dots,

Other products used:
11" x 14" Canvas, Delta Ceramcoat Spa Blue Acrylic Paint, Delta Casmere Texture Magic Dimensional Paint, DecoArt Americanan Dark Walnut Satin Enamels, Paint Brush - these product were found at a local craft store.

Step by Step Instructions:
- Paint canvas with acrylic paint.  Once dry apply a second coat if needed.  (I painted my canvas before bed and let it dry over night)
- Spritz painted canvas with Log Cabin Smooch Spritz all over the front.
- Place Kind Toughts Brocade Decor Stencil on left hand side of canvas.  I tried to position it so that there was an even space between the top of the canvas and the stencil and the bottom of the canvas and the stencil.  Approx. 1-1/2" margin.
- Next squeeze some Cashmere Texture Magic Dimensional Paint in a bowl add some Dark Walnut DecoArt Americana Satin Enamel and stir.  This is how I got the dark brown color for my stencil.
- Next pour the mixture over top of the stencil.  With a spatula type tool (you can buy a # of tools in a pkg.) spread the mixture over top of the stencil.  Make sure to get it all over.  It doesn't really matter if some areas have more mixture then others that gives it dimension. 
- Once you are happy with the amount of mixture you have on your stencil, very carefully lift the stencil up.  It is best to make sure your hands are clean before doing this step.  Leave canvas to dry (again over night is a good time).
- Next ink your En Francais Background Stamp with your Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad and stamp all over your Crumb Cake card stock, covering the whole area.
- Take a piece of Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon and adhere to the center back of your Crumb Cake card stock.  I put a piece of sticky strip on the back side of my canvas to hold the ribbon in place.  Don't peel off the back of the sticky strip just yet as we aren't adhering the Crumb Cake card stock just yet.
- Next cut Early Espresso card stock just a bit bigger than your photos.  Adhere your photos on top of each Early Espresso card stock layer.  Position them on top of your Crumb Cake card stock.  I left about a 1/4" in between each picture.
- Cut a 1-1/2" strip of Early Espresso card stock and make a Scallop Border using your Scallop Border Punch.  Adhere to the bottom of your Crumb Cake card stock.
- Take another piece of Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon and make a classic bow.  (two bunny ears, wrap left ear over right ear and pull left ear through the center).  Adhere bow where Crumb Cake card stock and Early Espresso 1-1/2" strip of card stock meet.  I used a Glue Dot to adhere my bow.
- Next ink your Cherish stamp from the Baroque Motifs stamp set with an Early Espress Classic Stampin' Pad and stamp on Very Vanilla card stock.  Punch word out with Designer Label Punch.  Position words in the center of your pictures.  Poke holes through the Crumb Cake card stock and secure silver brads to the Designer Label HodgePodge Hardware.
- Adhere Crumb Cake card stock on top of your canvas.  I used sticky strip to make sure that it will stay.  You may also remove the backing of the sticky strip on the back of the canvas and secure the Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon.
- Next cut your title out using Early Espresso card stock, the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and Naturally Serif Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die and adhere to the top of your canvas.
- Take 3 Vanilla Half-Back Pearls from Pretties Kit and adhere them to the center points of the Kind Thoughts Brocade Stencil.  I used sticky strip to secure my pearls.

Voila you are finished your scrapbook canvas.  This is a great way to decorate a room in your house or to give someone as a gift.  When my Sister-In-Law saw mine she asked me to make her one.  It is a good thing that Christmas is just around the corner.
