January 20, 2013 - STAMP CAMP

My January 20, 2013 Stamp Camp is quickly approaching.  I am so excited as this will be my first Stamp Camp of 2013.  This Stamp Camp is just in time for the new Spring Mini Catalogue as well as Stampin' Up!'s annual Sale-A-Bration promotion.  We will be using products features inside both of these catalogue to make our cards.  I hope you will be joining me for some New Year stamping fun!

Check out the projects below, we will be making both of these at my Stamp Camp on January 20, 2013.

Valentine's Day Hearts and Tags Card

Little One - Baby Tags card

Spring Mini Catalogue - If you do not have a copy of the Spring Mini Catalogue, simply visit my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website by clicking here to find the link.  Then click on Products and finally on Catalogues.  You will be inspired by the fresh new ideas and products that are featured in this Spring Mini Catalogue.

Baby Girl Card

Here is a card I made for a baby girl.  This card was made using the Embellished Events (that set has such a variety of occasion stamps) as well as some of the new 2012-2014 In-Colors; Primrose Petals card stock and Stampin' Write Marker along with Summer Starfruit Stampin' Write Marker.  The Pink Pirouette Buttons are from the Twitterpated Designer Buttons which I believe was in the Occasions Mini Catalogue.  Sometimes I find buttons do the trick instead of using ribbon all of the time.

I am so excited to receive some new products from the Holiday Mini Catalogue.  Estimated delivery date is Wednesday, be sure to check back soon so that you can see some Holiday Mini creations.  Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Up! products used:
Stamp Set: Embellished Events, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Very Vanilla card stock, Very Vanilla Textured card stock, Primrose Petals card stock, Crumb Cake card stock
Ink: Summer Starfruit Stampin' Write Marker, Primrose Petals Stampin' Write Marker, Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories:  Scallop Edge Punch, Twitterpated Designer Buttons, Modern Label Punch

Another Button Buddies baby card

The baby rattle in the Button Buddies card makes a great focal point for this card.  The second layer of this card was texturized using the Backgrounds #1 Textured Plates.  The Very Vanilla cardstock that the blue rattle was stamped on was cut out using the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and the Scallop Rectangle Clearlit Die.  These cards are quick and easy to make with not a lot of fuss.  I am running low and need to make somre more to have on hand.

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
Stamp Set: Button Buddies, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Bashful Blue card stock, Very Vanilla card stock
Ink: Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Marker, Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker, Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories: Bashful Blue 3/8" Satin Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Scallop Rectangle Clearlit die, Background #1 Textured Plates, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine

Baby Rattle Card

I have recently started back to work full-time.....yes after being at home with my kids for 6 years we (Hubby & I) decided I should give it a try.  It is a HUGE adjustment and am hoping with each passing week that the kids settle more and more in our new routine.  And with each passing week I am hoping to find some consistent stamping time.  I am pretty sure my nights will even out and I won't be so tired and need to go to bed so early.  hehehe  I did manage to find some stamping time tonight!  It seems that I am WAY behind on my baby cards.  Which means I need to find a quick and easy card that I can make a whole bunch of in next to no time.  Those types of cards are my FAV!

Here is a baby boy card I made using the Button Buddies stamp set.  I guess you could place a button on the "rattle" part of the stamp but I thought that would be a bit silly as then you would loose all of the detail that this image has.  Perhaps I should make one with a button so we can compare.  I will write that on my "Cards I need to make" list.  This card was fairly easy to make.  It isn't that fussy for details and doesn't really have a lot of stamping.  I did color the image with Stampin' Write Markers instead of ink pads so that I could get some different colors.

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
Stamp Set: Button Buddies, Tiny Tags
Paper: Bashful Blue card stock, Whisper White card stock, Island Indigo card stock
Ink: Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Marker, Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker, Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker (I don't have the Island Indigo one yet)
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimesionals, Bashful Blue 5/8" Satin Ribbon, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Jewelery Tag Punch

New Baby Animals Card

hehehe this stamp set has such versatility.....recently I have made a Father's Day card with it, a birthday card and now baby cards.  Here is one of the 5 baby boy cards I made the other day.  I like the bolder colors for baby boy cards.  The Peach Parfait is one of my favourites to use for a baby boy card.  The "New Baby" words is from the Fundamental Phrases stamp set.  That stamp set has a variety of words for every occasion.  I like the font of the stamp set too - it isn't too big and isn't too small.

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
Stamp set: Animal Stories, Fundamental Phrases
Paper: Very Vanilla card stock, Pear Pizzazz card stock, Sahara Sand card stock
Ink: Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad, Tempting Turquoise Classic Stampin' Pad, Peach Parfait Classic Stampin' Pad, Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Linen Thread, Modern Label Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates

Hello Baby Train Card

Last night I was able to make a bunch of baby cards and boy do I need them.  I needed to make 5 baby boy cards and 1 baby girl card.  Here is one of the cards I made for the baby boys.  I had a lot of fun making this card.  If you look closely you will see that I added some texture to the card base by using my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates.  The Choo-Choo stamp set and Right on Track Stampin' Around standard wheel are both on Stampin' Up!'s "Last Chance" list.  So after June 30, 2011 they will no longer be available.  When I saw this stamp set and standard wheel for the first time in the 2008-2009 Idea Book and Catalogue I knew that these were the products I was going to use to make my son's first birthday invitations.  I will have to see if I have one somewhere so that I can upload it and show it to you.  This is a great stamp set and standard wheel to make boy themed cards.

Stampin' Up! supplies used:
Stamp Set: Choo-Choo, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Wheel: Right on Track Stampin' Around standard wheel
Paper: Baja Breeze card stock, Basic Gray card stock, Whisper White card stock, Pear Pizzazz card stock
Ink: Baja Breeze Classic Stampin' Pad, Poppy Parade Classic Stampin' Pad, Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Poppy Parade 1/2" Poly-Stitched Ribbon, Jumbo Brad, Itty Bitty Punch

To order the above products in this project you can order them on-line at my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website or you could contact me directly to place your order.

Here is the baby card I made for my nephew Mads' baby shower.  The Fox & Friends stamp set is a great one to make baby cards.  The words "hello baby" are from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  I really like this card layout....you may see a bunch of card sporting this layout as it is an easy eye pleasing card layout.  I will make it into a scrap map so that you can use it too.

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
stamp sets: Fox & Friend, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Pink Giraffe Card

This card was fun to make.  One of my new fav products are the Rhinestone Jewels (pg 188) that Stampin' Up! now sells.  They are great to add a little bit of bling to a card.  Remember in my last post I had mentioned that I needed to make a baby name frame for one of the Mom's from my daughter's kindergarten class......well here is the card I made to go along with the baby name frame.  I overheard the Mom telling some other Mom's that her new baby's nursery has a giraffe theme to it so when I was making the name frame and the baby girl card I pulled out my Animal Stories stamp set as that stamp set has the perfect giraffe stamp from the projects that I needed to make.  Here is the baby girl's pink giraffe card.  Instead of putting dark circles on the giraffes back I thought it would be better to add some Stampin' Up! Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with my 2-Way Glue Pen.  I like the results of that effect.

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
Stamp Sets: Animal Stories, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Crumb Cake card stock, Pretty in Pink card stock, Early Espresso card stock, Whisper White card stock
Ink: Pretty in Pink Classic Stampin' Pad, Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Perfect Polk-Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Jewellery Tag Punch, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Whisper White 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon

To order the products to make this card, please contact me directly or go online to my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website. There is a direct link on the left hand side of my blog.
P.S.  I have a question for you....would you like it if I wrote down the step-by-step instructions on how to put each card together.....please provide your feedback as I would love to hear from you.
