Spotted Baby Girl Note cards

In my last post I mentioned that I was very busy making some hand made card orders....well one of those orders was for note cards and gift tags.  Here are a couple of Baby Girl note cards I made.  The lady that I made these for has a tin that has polka-dots on it so I was able to customize a note card to make it.  That is one reason why I LOVE stamping!  You can customize anything you want to match just about everything.  yeah!  If you are ever in need of an easy note card, gift tag or baby card please feel free to use this idea.  All you do is add dots (whichever size you want) and randomly place them on the card front.  The size of this note card is 3 3/4" x 4 1/2".

Thinking of you Sympathy Card

Happy Easter my stamping/creative friends!  I hope all of you have enjoyed the holiday.  The last past weeks have been very busy ones for me.  I had a couple of stamping orders to finish.  One was for note cards and gift tags and the other was was for wedding invitations for my brother's wife's sister.  I can't wait to upload these projects for you to see.  Gift tags are one thing that I am going to start making more of.  Stampin' Up! really makes these easy to make with their Two Tag Bigz Die.  hehehe so much fun.

Now on to the above project.......The Thoughts & Prayers stamp set is a stamp set that I am so glad that I got.  The images are perfect for a sympathy type card as well as a birthday card, anniversary card or ever a Happy Mother's Day card.  I like to put "Thinking of You" on my sympathy cards.  During the last couple of weeks I have needed to sympathy type cards and here is one of them.  The Pear Pizzazz card stock base has the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder done to it to give it a little bit of texture.  That Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is quickly becoming my fav.

Bargello technique meets Scrapbook Layout

Scrapbook Layout Bargello Style....here is the scrapbook layout that I demonstrated for my His/Her Cards & Scrapbook Club.  You will see one square on each page has the bargello technique on it.  This scrapbook layout was a lot of fun and easy to do.  Just pick your color scheme find co-ordinating card stock and Designer Series Paper, pick some photos and voila you have a easy peasy scrapbook layout.  I have so many ideas to do with this layout.  I thought it might be cute using the bottom and side squares as building block and either stamping letters on them or animals.  Visit often to see what other ways to use this scrapbook layout.

You can find a great explanation on how to do the Bargello Technique on the Splitcoaststampers website under resources.

My dear kind & wonderful Friend Bargello Card

For this month's Stamping Technique His/Her Cards & Scrapbook Club I am demonstrating the Bargello technique.  After making this card I think the Bargello technique looks better on a bigger piece of paper than a smaller one.  Check out my "his" Bargello card to see what I mean.  Anyways, this technique is a lot of fun to do.  I hope my club members enjoy it as much as I do.  This technique is also very versatile as it can easily be used for cards for him or her, kids cards, baby cards and for any occasion really.

Stampin' Up! supplies used:

Masculine Bargello Technique

It has been some time since I have uploaded a new card for you to see.  Last week was a bit crazy...it was Spring Break and then our computer decided it didn't want to work.  It spent 3 days at my computer techs house and is finally up and running better than it was before the problems hit.  hehehe Thanks Colin!

The above card is a card I will be demonstrating at my upcoming Scrapbook and His/Her card Club this weekend.  I hope they think this card is masculine enough for the his portion of the club.  I think it will do just fine.  This is a very neat technique with a wide range of possibilities.  I will upload instructions on how to do it once my Scrapbook and His/Her card Club has past.

Be sure to visit my stamping blog frequently to see the Her card version of the Bargello Technique as well as the Scrapbook Page I will be demonstrating with this technique.

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
Stamp Set: Fundamental Phrases
Paper: Neutrals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack, Saraha Sand card stock, Chocolate Chip card stock, Crumb Cake card stock, Whisper White card stock
Ink: Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Neutrals Glimmer Brads, Small Star Punch (retired)

I didn't realize that I was using a retired product when I made this card.  Hmmm it looks like to me that the Small Star Punch is no longer availabe in the Idea Book & Catalogue.  I will have to see if I can find something else to replace the star that is a current product.
