Tomorrow my daughter turns 7. I can't believe she is going to be 7. Wow how time flies. Another amazing thing that I always think about on my daughter's birthday is that she actually missed being a Leap Year baby by 20 minutes. Haha she was born on March 1 at 12:20 a.m.
Here is the happy birthday card I made for my beautiful 7 year old daughter. I think I saw this idea either on Splitcoaststampers or else it was on the Stampin' Connection website I belong too. These balloons were fun andsuper easy to make. All you need is a circle punch (here I used the 1-1/4" circle punch) and to make the bottom of the balloon you use one of the feet from the Owl Builder punch. Too cute - hey! Then you need to cut a piece of Baker's Twine forthe balloon string and secure it to the back of the balloon. I used Stampin' Dimensionals. This product not only will gives the balloons a 3-D effect but will also make sure that the Baker's Twine is secure. Gotta love Stampin' Dimensionals.

Mixed Bunch Flower Card and matching Magnet
I recently needed a quick hand stamped card to give to one of my friends. I thought it would be nice to surprise her with a card and also make a" little something" to put inside of it. Here is what I made her.
The card is a 3" x 3" in size and is super easy to make. All you do is ink your stamp with the same color of ink as card stock then and stamp the image onto it. Here I used one of the flower images from the Mixed Bunch stamp set (found on page 17 in the Ocasions Mini Catalogue )--this set has quicly became one of my favs. The matching Classic Stampin' Pad and Card stock that I used is one of Stampin' Up!'s new 2012-2013 In-Colors...Pool Party. I then punched out the image with the Blossom punch (found on page 17 in the Occasions Mini Catalogue)-- another one of my favs. Next I stamped the center of the flower on Whisper White card stock using Lucky Limeade Classic Ink and punch the flower center out using a 3/4" Circle Punch. I then placed it in the center of the flower using a Stampin' Dimensional to give it a bit of a 3-D effect. Next I took another product favourite--Dazzling Damonds Dazzling Details and applied it to various pasrt of the flower to make it shimmer.
I then picked the "hello" saying from the Ting Tags stamp set, inked it with Early Espresso Classic Ink , stamped it ontoWhisper White card stock and punched it out with the Jewllery Tag Punch. I then placed it in the flower center. I place using my SNAIL adhesive and placed a Rhinestone Basic jewel on top to add more bling. I did the same exact thing to a second flower but this time I added a circle magnet on the back so using the 1-3/4" circle punchmy friend can place this on her fridge at home. It is sure easy to turn your stamped creations into magnets as all of Stampin' Up! punches will punch through the magnetic sheets found on page 216 in the Idea Book & Catalogue. These Magnetic Sheets are also easily cut by the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine. So the next time you need a quick and easy "little something" to stick in someone's card, try giving them a fridge magnet.

Create A Cupcake 3 x 3 cards
I can't believe it how long it has been since my last post. I recently started a new job and I guess life has gotten away with me. Here are some cute, quick & easy cards. My daughter attended a bithday party not to long ago for twin girls and this is the card that I made for each one of them. I thought their initial added a special touch. If you need a quick and easy birthday card give one of these a try. To get the shimmery Early Espresso Ink I look added a couple of drops of Champagne Shimmer Paint and a couple of drops of Early Espresso Classic Re-Inker in the lid of a button or eyelet container, mixed the two around and then applies this mixture to the Baroque Motifs stamp set by a sponge dauber and then stamped the stamp on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock.
Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
Stamp set: Barouque Motifs
Paper: Pnk Pirouette card stock , Crumb Cake card stock, Whispher White card stock, Melon Mambo card stock, Real Red card stock, Rich Razzleberry Card stock, Daffodil Delight card stock
Ink: Early Espresso Classic Re-Inker
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Timeless Medium Alphabet Die, Create-A-Cupcake Punch, Itty Bitty Buttons, Linen Thread, Stampin' Dimensionals, Elegant Lines Textured Impressions folder
