Here is another take on the Happy Birthday Blooms card I made.  One of my club members requested I demonstrate sewing at her club month which is in March.  I added the sewing border around this card to show my club members what it looks like.  I showed them the Happy Birthday Blooms card without the sewing first and then this one.

Happy Birthday Bloom Card

Stampin' Up! puts out monthly magazines for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and I came across a card in there that I just loved.  I didn't have the right supplies that they used so I made my own version.  Here it is.  Stampin' Up!'s card used the XL Two-Step Bird Punch - believe me that punch is on my next order.  Wow I have some really neat cards and projects made with it.  This card may be featured at my Occasions stamp camp on March 14, 2010.  I haven't used my Birds & Blooms 4 pack Sizzlits in so long.  It was fun to pull them out and create this card.  The Certainly Celery on the bottom part of the card uses Stampin' Up!'s Background #1 Texturz Plates, I am not too sure whether you can see that or not from the picture.

Stampin' Up! supplies used:
Stamp Set: Vintage Labels,
Card stock: Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Rich Razzleberry Textured card stock, So Saffron, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip Classic Ink
Accessories:  Old Olive 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Modern Label Punch, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plates, Little Leaves Sizzlits Die, Birds & Blooms Sizzlits 4-Pack Die, Fire Circle Rhinestone brad, Crop-A-Dile

Vintage For You Card

I think most of my posts start with the word Vintage.  hehehehe  I really like the Vintage line that Stampin' Up! has put out.  This card uses the Vintage Labels stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration promotion.  This is the card I demonstrated at my club yesterday.  The techniques we did were distressing paper or card stock in this case, direct to paper ink and cracked glass.  The cracked glass technique is very messy but fun and give beautiful results.

Stamping supplies used:
Stamp Sets: Vintage Labels
Card stock: Whisper White, Old Olive, Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper, Bermuda Bay Textured card stock
Ink: Soft Suede Classic Ink, Old Olive Classic Ink, VersaMark
Accessories: Cutter Kit, Glassy Glaze Enamel, Heat Gun, Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon

Michelle's February Scrapbook Layout of the Month

Here is my scrapbook layout for the month of February.  The ladies in my club had a choice of either doing a dog themed scrapbook page, cat or Build-A-Bear if they didn't have a dog or cat.  A couple did the Build-A-Bear page and only 2 did the cat the rest of use did the dog page.  The P is for Paw standard wheel is a lot of fun to use.  You can cover a piece of card stock very easily wheeling that wheel around.

Stamp Set: P is for Paw standard Stampin' Around wheel
Paper: Soft Suede Textured card stock, Very Vanilla card stock, Basic Black card stock, Whisper White card stock
Ink: Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Naturally Serif Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die

Valentine's Day T-Shirt

On the last weCANstamp Group (that is the Stampin' Up! upline I am a part of) DVD I purchased they had a demonstration on there about stamping on fabric.  There were so many amazing projects shown on this DVD I was totally blown away.  MDS is next on my list me thinks.  Anyways I had purchased this white shirt for my daughter to either stamp something on it or sew something on it and after watching this DVD I decided to stamp something on it.  Being Valentine's Day was just around the corner I decided to stamp hearts on it with Stampin' Up!'s I {Heart} Hearts stamp set.  I took out the stamp set along with my craft ink and got busy.  Here is my finished product.  Doesn't look too bad - eh!?!?  My daughter loved it and immediately put it on.  She got it a bit dirty so I put it in the wash on Thursday night so she could wear it to preschool the next day and some of the hearts had washed off.  I must go back to the DVD and see what was said again to set the craft ink or I just make try classic ink.

Stampin' Up! supplies used:
Stamp set: I{Heart} Hearts
Ink: Cameo Coral Craft Ink, Regal Rose Craft Ink, Rose Red Craft Ink

This is probably a scrapbook page that my daugther is not going to like when she is older but I couldn't resist.  Some time ago my Sister-In-Law and my niece stopped by with a Cars shaving kit for my daughter.  I think my daughter and husband shaved together every Saturday for a month.  They looked so cute together shaving that I couldn't resist taking pictures of them........you know the scrapbooker in me has always got to have a picture of something.  hehehehe  This is the scrapbook page I came up with.  This scrapbook layout is taken from the Scrapbook Lounge's Scrapbooking Page Planners.   It is called Seven/Five Split.  By cutting a 12" x 12" card stock piece (in this case I used a piece of Petals & Paisley DSP) in half at 5" you will then have 2 pieces of DSP, one will be 5" x 12" and the other 7" x 12".  You then use the 5" x 12" on the first page of your double page scrapbook layout and the 7" x 12" on your second page.  This is the same layout (different Stampin' Up! products though) I will be doing for my February Stamping Technique & Scrapbook Club.  The DSP in this layout has been retired that is why I can't use this exact page.  Scrapbooking is so much fun.  I am really enjoying myself making the pages and sharing them with you.

Stampin' Up! supplies used:
Stamp Sets: none
Card stock: Old Olive, Barely Banana, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Petals & Paisley DSP
Ink: none
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Big Shot, Naturally Serif Alphabet Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die

Happy Anniversary card for my Parents

I saw a beautifully simple card in February's Stamping Success, a magazine that Stampin' Up! Demonstrators receive once a month, and wanted to make it for my parent's 39th Anniversary.  I made some changes....the card size is a standard card size, the card base is Real Red and the hearts are different.  I also added a Circle Rhinestone Brad where as Stampin' Up!'s version had used a red button.  Stampin' Up! had also used the Hugs & Kisses cards & envelopes for their sample.  I love it when a card comes nicely together.  :)

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
Stamp Set:  I {Heart} Hearts, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card stock: Real Red, Very Vanilla
Ink: Bashful Blue Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Certainly Celery Classic Stampin' Pad
Accessories: Circle Rhinestone Brad, Stampin' Dimensionals
